Establishment: The Charity association of kartaba has been instituted on 26/02/1927 under                               the memorandum No374. 

Established in 1927, under the memorandum number 374, the kartaba charity association, is one of the first and the biggest of its kind in Lebanon.

Since 1932 the Association owns a piece of land under the number 1301- Achrafieh - Jitawi, over which the actual location was built.

Up to date, More than one thousand kartabians are members of  the association, assisting and benefiting in the acts of charities as well as many other kartabians (non-members).

1- Building of a cemetery for the kartabians in St. Mikhael cemetery Beirut, as well as in kartaba to face the obstacle standing against honoring our beloved...

2- Helping the sick and poor people and assisting them, and handling the funerals expenses.

3- Assisting in the Yearly Christmas parties for the children of kartaba.

4- The Association had already started the mission that this web site was made for, and advertised the name of kartaba Abroad to a considerable level of proud. therefore it worked on enhancing and enforcing the communication and the relationships between all the kartabians in Lebanon and Abroad, by enlarging the space of its activities to the Mexico and other parties of the world.

5- Opening of a free Medical clinic in the location of Achrafieh on the 3rd of June 1993, under memorandum number 2/203 (4184/93) dated 02-06-1993.

6- Accomplishment of the new Building of the Association at Achrafieh Jitawi in 1995.

7- The Association has made an investment contract with the municipality for about 100,000 square meter of land at the entrance of kartaba, where a building of about 20,000 square meter was built to become the house of the association in kartaba, and the center of its charity acts for all kartabians.

8- Recently the association is handling the advertising of all the events at kartaba, through a bulk SMS services: within seconds any event or news are sent to the mobiles of about 1000 kartabians 1000 mobil numbers), such as celebrations, funerals, carnivals...

This service is provided as well from this web site and is available for locals and foreigners.
